UbuWeb is the internet's largest site dedicated to the free distribution and dissemination of avant-garde and related materials. The site currently features over 500 artists from dozens of countries and hosts nearly a terabyte of media materials. UbuWeb is dedicated to the free and unimpeded distribution of materials that generally have had little economic worth, whilst possessing great artistic and historic merit. Types of work featured are experimental music, sound poetry, concrete and visual poetry, full-length books of innovative writing, plays, ethnopoetics, outsider art and music, radio arts, and a trove of scholarly papers on the above disciplines.
