Langston Hughes Community Library and Cultural Center, co-operated by Library Action Committee of Corona-East Elmhurst, Inc and Queens Library is a community based public library and cultural arts institution. It offers artist exhibitions, independent film screenings and festivals, creative writing workshops, author poetry readings, open mic nights, public and historical lectures, musical performances and annual celebrations-Kwanzaa, Langston Hughes Celebration, Famil Day and two annual jazz brunches. Through a strong multi-cultural approach represent the creativity and varied cultures of our community.
