The Pops provides arts and culture to the community through free multicultrual concerts for the entire community to enjoy and to provide a venue for local artists and musicians to share their dedication and work with the entire community at no cost. |
DescriptionBemus Bay Pops, Inc. is a non-for-profit organization dedicated to providing free family entertainment by world-class musicians on the Chautauqua Lake Floating Stage in Bemus Point, NY. The Pops hosts an outdoor concert event of historic proportions, featuring world class musicians from the area. It is a fREE outdoor concert series held throughout the summer. Various types of musicians, bands, orchestras and performing artists provide free entertainmnet to the community from an amazing floating stage located on Lake Chautauqua in the Bemus Point Bay. The Bemus Bay Pops Floating Stage is a 60 foot by 60 foot square dock-like structure with an inverted saddle type canopy that acts as a natural bandshell. Guests can watch the Bemus Bay Pops shows on the floating stage from land or from their boats on the lake. The concert series is free to the public and is held every sunday afternoon. In addition, they host free family movie nights, which is shown from the stage. |
